Finocchiona is salami that's steeped in Tuscan tradition. In the Middle Ages black pepper was expensive and scarce so the Tuscan peasants started using fennel instead. It’s made with medium coarse ground pork from the leg, back, cheek and shoulder, which is flavoured with fennel seed. 100gItalian pork meat*, sea salt, cane sugar*, fennel seeds* (0,6%) spices*. * = produced to organic standards.
